Big Bin Event - Hodgson Garage Day - Goodwill Donation Truck - Food Bank Bin

Hodgson Community League board members will be located at the connection of Hodgson Blvd and Ogilvie Blvd (near the power lines/walking trail) to help you with your Spring Cleaning!

 

This is possible due to the organization and funding from the Hodgson Community League. Consider buying a community league membership while at visiting the event.

Hodgson Garage Sale Day

With so many reasons for your neighbours to be out in the neighbourhood on May 29th, consider hosting a garage sale on that day on your driveway. You may advertise it with us at the big bin event if you wish. Better yet, any items you don't sell, you can donate or toss out the same day!

 

Big Bin Event

(must show proof that you live in Hodgson as this portion is sponsored by the Hodgson Community League and the Hodgson Homeowner's Association)

 

Accepted Materials

• Couches, chairs, mattresses, and other household furniture items too large for curbside pickup

• Fridges, freezers, washers, dryers and other large household appliances (will be recycled)

• Computers, televisions and other household electronics (will be recycled)

Non-accepted Materials

• Commercial Waste

• Household Hazardous Waste - please take to an Eco Station. They will be accepted at no cost.

 

 

Goodwill staff and a truck will be on site as well!

Cleaning out your pantry? We have a bin for that too!

 

Most Needed Items include:

beans with or without pork
canned meat
canned fish
canned fruit or vegetables
peanut butter
macaroni and cheese dinners
pasta and pasta sauce
cereal and oatmeal
school snack items such as juice boxes, fruit cups and granola bars
