Useful Info on COVID containment measures.
Dear Hodgson Community League,
On November 24, the Government of Alberta announced new restrictions for the province to help prevent the increased spread of COVID-19. The City of Edmonton will follow the restrictions laid out by the province.
Starting on November 27, the City will make the below adjustments to programs and activities. Recreation centres will remain open for individual fitness activities.
Restrictions will be in effect from November 27 until at least December 18, 2020.
Additionally, effective December 1, the City will be refusing entry to City recreation facilities and the Edmonton Valley Zoo for individuals who choose not to wear a face covering, regardless of the individual’s exemption status. Face coverings can still be removed while exercising once in the designated areas but you are required to wear a mask when moving between pieces of equipment within fitness centres. Face coverings cannot be worn in pools.
Affected courses are being cancelled and registrants are being notified by email.
